Thank you for your message. I\u2019m little surprised that there were so many orders! Yesterday I showed the Pikka internet shops to the se\u00f1oras. They were very happy. They will be happier when I say that you had so many orders after the TV broadcast. <\/p>\n

After the order from Japan, Pikka, is finished, we have to prepare another big order which came through Korean government. When the wife of Speaker of the Korean Congress came to our workshop, she bought about $1,000 of products. Maybe we can understand that those products were accepted well and evaluated all right. From the secretary of Ms. Lee, I was told that they want to prepare gifts to those who attend the event which will be held in September. They want 200 \u2013 300 products, scarves, snoodos and armwarmers. But we were told at KOICA that we need to knit the same amount of products, butarmwarmers were not included. This time we were told that they will make a bazaar in September. We were told that we have to decide whether we will knit them or not; if we say \u201cyes\u201d and cannot complete it, it will be the shame of Reiko Kaburaki, or Reiko K. Lee. Our future will be at stake also. The president of our workshop Yolanda said clearly \u201cyes\u201d without hesitation. I was happy to hear that.<\/p>\n

Now the order from Pikka is almost finished and most of the women of MujeresUnidas are knitting for Korea. We don\u2019t have a lot of time to make 200 \u2013 300 items by the beginning of August, but we have to make them. Most of us have been working very hard for Pikkaand it is not the end. I asked the MU members whether there are more women who want to work with us even till the end of this project. Five women came to help us. They will receive some money per product.Tentatively it is said to be 15soles. I don\u2019t think it is enough, but we have to see how they knit. I hope one or two of them stay in our workshop when Korean project is over.<\/p>\n
